We are a small family-owned and family-operated business with a passion for creating beautiful, personal pieces of art. Embroidery is a slow process, and we take pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail. Our designs reflect the time and love we put into each piece, and we hope they brighten your heart and home.
We founded Hoffelt & Hooper Co. in 2016 after I dealt with a severe low in my battle with anxiety and depression. During this difficult time, I discovered and fell in love with embroidery. It was my therapy and helped to provide me with a much-needed creative outlet. After a lot of dreaming and planning, we decided that I should leave my corporate job and start our own little business.
While my husband doesn’t stitch, he does a lot of the behind-the-scenes things for the business, like figuring out taxes, thread bobbin wrapping, and kit assembly, as well as giving encouragement and providing wineglass refilling. Our other two “employees,” CFOs (chief fluffy officers) Maisie Mae and Griffey, are great at snuggling and keeping the mood light—but aren’t very helpful with stitching.
Since we founded Hoffelt & Hooper Co., I knew I wanted to teach others to embroider. The kits are a way to share my knowledge and help others tap into their creative side. It’s not about perfection but trying new things and developing your personal style.
We want to thank you again for your support. It means the world to us. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about the pattern, need help with a stitch, or even just want to say hello. We’d love meeting new people and enjoy collaborative opportunities.
